About Me

Thank you for visiting my site for Instructional Design and eLearning Development. My name is Jenni McCoy. I am a Certified Professional in Training and Performance (CPTP), and founding member of J2M Design.

I am a dedicated and ethical Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer. I have been in the corporate Learning and Development space for 10+ years. My passion to help others learn has continually increased throughout my career. I love not only creating visual designs for job aids and infographics but also developing learning solutions (eLearning, instructor-led, virtual-led) that yield effective and measurable outcomes.

My knowledge in adult learning theories includes (but not limited to) ADDIE, Merrill’s First Principles, and Backward Design. I am versed in Gagne’s Nine Events of Instructional Design, Bloom’s Taxonomy as well as Memory and Cognitive Load Theories. 

I have extensive experience with coaching and mentoring employees and teammates. I love helping others learn. I love seeing the "ah-ha" moment on someone’s face or hearing it within their voice when a process clicks.

Additionally, I have a strong love for writing, editing and proofreading policies, procedures, training manuals and reference guides. I love simplifying technical processes so anyone non-technical can learn. My goal is to transform adult learning through every document, manual, infographic, and course I create.
